Comfortable private rooms, either en-suite or room only for privacy; a large open plan kitchen with a dining room in which to enjoy meals in the company of other residents; a small intimate lounge for Residents to enjoy card games, reading, just relaxing or to entertain their guests in; a second cozy lounge with a very large fireplace and entertainment room with a rustic wooden bar/pub for a relaxing sundowner and last but not least, a small library stocked with a variety of books, magazines and puzzles for the enjoyment of our residents.
Residents will receive three tasty, nutritious home-cooked meals per day as well as tea/coffee on request. Should a Resident wish to bake or prepare a meal for themselves, they are more than welcome to make use of the kitchen, which will however, be under strict supervision and assistance.
Housekeeping will be carried out by a permanent housekeeper, who will also tend to each Residents’ laundry needs on a daily basis.With regards to social programs and activities, we offer trips to town as well as arrange outings to places of interest, host bridge/poker games at our home and the Resident is free to invite friends and family at any time for a visit or to join them for a meal.
Appointments to Doctors, Dentists, Optometrists, Hairdresser, etc. will be arranged through the Caregivers and should the Resident require assistance, one of our in-house staff members/Caregivers will accompany them to their appointment.
Varying levels of assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing/showering, dressing and even healthcare management are carried out by our Caregivers.
We have 24 hour surveillance cameras throughout the house to ensure the safety of our Residents and Staff at all times.
