ABOUT ORGANIC MACHINE
When I was a child I read a quote, “If you wouldn’t put it in your mouth, don’t put it on your face”. This struck a chord with me and is the underlying philosophy of Organic Machine.
I started making skin care products when I was 10 years old. My mother taught me my very first product recipe, which is now the base for Midnight Bloom, one of my most popular items.I bought books on herbalism and aromatherapy and began experimenting in earnest.
This came in handy when puberty arrived and my skin needed all the help it could get! Seeing the amazing results I achieved, friends and acquaintances became interested in my products, and I started making them for sale at my belly dance class when I was 15.
At 18 I completed a course in massage and aromatherapy, which added greatly to my knowledge and understanding. In my mid-twenties I made an exceptional scrub (now the base of Decadent Delight) that I shared with a friend. She passed it on to her mother, who then passed it on to a friend, and so its reputation spread.
One day my husband commented, “You’re really good at this.”“Yes, it seems so.” I replied.“And people really love it.”“Absolutely!” I said.“So, why don’t you do something with it?”And so, in 2012, Organic Machine was born.I spent the next 3 years doing research and development and going through many, many versions of packaging, until I was finally satisfied, and Organic Machine was launched in October 2015.
Organic Machine was an instant hit, and has been steadily growing ever since with numerous stockists to date, including Weleda Pharmacies, Faithful to Nature, and (add some/one). I have begun learning biochemistry to improve my products even further. Every item is created with love and meticulous attention to detail.
