National Acupuncture Detoxification Association of South Africa
For almost 40 years NADA has used “Acudetox” to treat addiction. It came to S.A.in 2010
Did you know that you can use acupuncture to detoxify the human body? Did you know that you can use acupuncture to treat emotional and psychological conditions? The process is done using auricular acupuncture. Its the process of treating the human body through acupuncture in the ears.
Auricular acupuncture can be used to treat addiction, attention deficit disorder (ADD & ADHD), depression, bi-polar disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, post traumatic stress disorder and can even be used to help you quit smoking. Acudetox is just another word for acupuncture detoxification. It is the most powerful and fastest way in the world to remove toxins from the human body. It`s also the fastest way to treat stress and anger problems.
Acudetox Centre are the first in bringing the skills training to South Africa.
The NADA US organization, established in 1985 to provide training and education in the technique, estimates today that over 25,000 providers worldwide have been trained in the procedure.
Projects that offer the protocol exist today in over 40 countries.
The settings in which the NADA model has been integrated include addictions, psychiatric/mental health, prisons, post traumatic stress centres, disaster relief, Native American reservations, refugee settings, pastoral care, humanitarian aid, sickle cell, cancer and HIV/AIDS care, case workers, volunteers, and harm reduction workers.
A simple 5 point protocol perfected over almost 40 years, backed by research & results has brought relief to hundreds of millions of people, suffering with an addiction, mental illness or toxicity related illness.
On the 7th of April 2014, NADA South Africa announced plans to train 5000 new ADS's in the NADA 5 Point Protocol over the next 10 years, to address the epidemic of addiction in this country.
South Africa faces an addiction epidemic with more than 15% of the population as problem drug users. Treatment is inaccessible to the majority because it is extremely expensive. Considering that a NADA treatment costs around R20.00 per person per day, we believe that the NADA 5 Point is a workable solution to address these challenging issues.
Our vision is to train 5000 NADA ADS`s in South Africa in the 5 Point Protocol over the next 10 years.
