Our Company Profile
Multi Seal and Coatings was founded in 1976 in the Western Cape and has since grown to become a key player in the multi-sealing and coating field. In 2001 Nico Schlechter took over ownership of the business, bringing with him 22 years worth of experience in painting and waterproofing which he gained from his previous company, Tsumeb Painters and Waterproofers in Namibia.
He has played an integral role in overseeing the steady growth and expansion of Multi Seal and Coatings, ensuring that the company remains at the forefront of the industry.
Today we feature a full complement of highly skilled staff as well as an excellent track record of satisfied customers. Based in Durbanville, we have expanded our service areas to also include other parts of the Western Cape such as the Southern and Northern suburbs, Malmesbury, Stellenbosch, Strand and Somerset West.
SERVICES
Hydroblasing
We use high pressure cleaning to remove all loose and flaking paints as well as to ensure all powdery sediments are removed prior to painting.
Waterproofing
We use torched-on, membrane and cementation systems depending on surface suitability.
Damp seal
We use sika, watershield and liquid plastic applications to prevent the ingress of water.
Concrete protection and repair
Spalling results from corrosion of reinforced steel that is exposed to oxygen and moisture and thus causing the steel to rust. All loose concrete must be mechanically removed, the steel treated for corrosion and the concrete repaired with concrete repair mortar.
Roof coating
All surfaces are hydro blasted to remove mould and other contaminants and waterproofing problems are attended to.
Interior and exterior painting
We determine exactly what our clients’ needs are in terms of coatings and carry out all work at above-standard levels. We only use the top quality range of products from reputable manufacturers.
