It covers topics such as learning theories, teaching methods, motivation, cognition, emotional and moral development; and parent-child relationships. As an Educational Psychologist, I believe in order for the therapeutic process to be most effective, a holistic approach within a child's life must be adopted. Therefore, my practice focuses on the wellbeing of children but is not limited to their individual role in their learning and development.
My aim is to work with children, parents and teachers in order to best understand the key areas of concern; allowing for the most appropriate and beneficial therapeutic or assessment service to be provided.

Sometimes the limits we place on our own field of vision do not allow us see the best and most beautiful parts of ourselves. As a result, we then limit our view of others and the world around us. These limits may just as easily be placed on our children. Psychological intervention works towards a shift in focus, allowing us the opportunity to see the wonder and goodness within ourselves and our children.
Psychological intervention on any level is a uniquely personal experience. It is a journey of self-discovery and self-acceptance. There are problems to solve, lessons to learn, mistakes to be made and experiences to enjoy. It has no given time limit, nor a specific route. It is rarely a straight road and may be slightly bumpy. Imagine the destination, what you would like to achieve? Let’s go there. Together.
