Hillstone Lodge borders the Northern Tuli Conservation Area, which houses both the Mashatu Game Reserve and Tuli Lodge.The famous World Heritage Site, Mapungubwe National Park, is approximately 30 km east of Hillstone Lodge.
Ratho Krokodile Farm is one of the many nearby attractions in this area.Hillstone Lodge is built on a giant sandstone hill and offers breathtaking views of the Limpopo River and adjacent Botswana. The 7 km riverfront ensures the visitor of unobstructed viewing of elephants and various other animals who visit the watergates daily.

ACCOMMODATION
The lodge offer bed and breakfast as well as self-catering accommodation in double rooms and also self-catering camping facilities.
Lodge:
The grass roof building consists of 8 en-suite bedrooms with air conditioning.
Each room can accommodate 2 people and is cleaned daily.
Bush camp:
The bush camp is overtaken by huge Nyala Trees in the river bush on the banks of the Limpopo River.
The camping sites are fully self catering, there is a flush toilet, 2 hot water showers and an open-air laundry area.
FACILITIES
The fully equipped kitchen and laundry area flows into the reception area, where the giant "sleeper" dining table can accommodate a large group of people. Combine the comfortable braai area, pool and potspel table in a cozy unit.
Guests can be fully self-sufficient using the available facilities or can ask for catering services available.The lapa may be used (with prior agreement) for various activities such as morning coffee when the day wakes up or late afternoon snacks and evening gingerbreadies.

HUNTING
Hillstone hunting safaris is a registered hunting company and I regularly hunt local as well as overseas hunters on the farm.The farm is about 1 500 ha and is covered with ridges, cliffs and Mopanie bush. This topography and vegetation means that it is virtually impossible to hunt from a vehicle and therefore offers great excitement and challenges to the experienced hunter.
